Privacy Policy – ChatGPT Token Counter & Focus Tools
Last updated: July 7, 2026
ChatGPT Token Counter & Focus Tools is a browser extension by Akhirah Projects that enhances supported ChatGPT pages with productivity, organization, notification, prompt-management, export, cleanup, and context-risk tools. This Privacy Policy explains what user data the extension collects, accesses, processes, handles, stores, uses, and shares; how that data is handled; where it is stored; how long it is retained; and all parties with whom user data may be shared.
Single Purpose
The single purpose of ChatGPT Token Counter & Focus Tools is to enhance supported ChatGPT pages with local productivity tools for long-session work, including context-risk monitoring, token/context-window awareness, reply notifications, prompt management, conversation organization, exports, and cleanup utilities.
The extension is designed to operate only on supported ChatGPT/OpenAI web pages and only for features directly related to this single purpose.
Short Summary
The extension reads and processes supported ChatGPT page content locally in the user's browser so it can provide its user-facing features. Most extension data is stored locally in the user's browser. ChatGPT conversation content, prompts, responses, uploaded-file content, locally generated token counts, Risk Manager reports, prompt shelf entries, and user-created exports are not sold and are not transferred for advertising, marketing, profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated purposes.
External services may be used only for disclosed functionality such as account, authentication, license, entitlement, subscription, payment, support, security, compliance, or supported ChatGPT/OpenAI page operation.

This processing is used only to provide user-facing features such as token/context-risk monitoring, reply notifications, prompt management, conversation organization, cleanup utilities, and user-requested exports.
5. Web history
The extension may process supported ChatGPT/OpenAI page URLs, tab state, navigation events, conversation routes, thread identifiers, page state, and related browser-tab information only to detect supported pages, keep extension features synchronized, maintain reliability across ChatGPT navigation, and apply extension features only where they are intended to run.
6. User activity
The extension may process user activity related to supported ChatGPT pages and extension controls, including active tab detection, clicks on extension UI, feature toggles, notification state, response-completion state, export actions, prompt-management actions, conversation-management actions, cleanup actions, download actions, and other actions needed to operate the extension's user-facing features.
7. Website content
The extension may access visible ChatGPT/OpenAI page content, page structure, model or context-window indicators, conversation text, uploaded-file indicators, file or attachment metadata shown in the page, response state, and related website content needed to provide the extension's user-facing productivity, notification, prompt-management, organization, context-risk, cleanup, and export features.
8. User preferences and extension-created data
The extension may store user preferences, feature settings, tool states, prompt shelf entries, saved prompt text, conversation organization data, local Risk Manager state, local token/context-risk state, notification preferences, local diagnostic state, export-related state, and other extension settings created or configured by the user.
9. User-requested exports and downloads
If the user uses an export or download feature, the extension may generate downloadable files, reports, or diagnostic exports that contain information from the relevant ChatGPT page or extension state. Exporting or downloading is initiated by the user.
